We are providing school uniforms in the Korah community of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The city’s landfill covers an area equal to 89 football fields and is 5-6 stories tall. One hundred twenty thousand (120,000) people live in and around the heap of garbage. We focus on this community and its disparity through our partnership with Trinity Primary School, which is within the community, to bring a better opportunity for each of our students through education. Education is powerful but it also protects students from falling into early pregnancy, gang pressures, and child labor. Education is the only way out of their poverty.
